# About Atlas Vault

Atlas Vault is an investment tool for yield farming with specific strategies. They use automation to continuously invest and reinvest deposited funds, which helps achieve a high level of compounding. Instead of manually acquiring and selling rewards, buying more tokens, and constantly reinvesting them, the vault does all of this automatically at high frequency. Using Atlas vault to compound your earnings, you can save thousands of transactions, their associated gas costs, and valuable personal time.

Vaults are at the heart of the Atlas ecosystem. In Atlas vaults, you can earn more of the assets you put into them, whether a Liquidity Pool (LP) token or a single asset. For example, a vault that can stake USDT-USDC LP will generate more USDT-USDC LP over time, effectively increasing your share of the liquidity pool, allowing more and more fees over time and rewards.

When browsing a vault on the Atlas website, you will see the Annual Percentage Yield (APY), which takes frequent compounding into account, compared to the Annual Percentage Rate (APR). All users will also see the daily interest percentage and the TVL. Additionally, one can see what underlying platform the vault uses as a source of income.
